GSM based home automation using android smart mobile phone App

From the past few years, there is an enormous growth in wireless home automation systems. There are so many high-tech machineries and equipment’s are introduced and are controlled by the user from any location. This report is mainly about the controlling and monitoring of household appliances with the help of using windows /Android phone. There are so many other products are introduced to control the household appliances from anywhere with the help of Internet. The main disadvantage of these products is that it lacks mobility and security. The proposed system can able to deliver a good mobility and high security when compared with the other products. This proposed model uses Global system for mobile communication (GSM) technology. The main feature of this GSM technology is the subscriber identity module (SIM). The SIM is a detached smart card consists of the user information. This proposed model allows three types of communication, which can able to control the household appliances. A windows /Android phone application can be used by the mobile phones to control and monitor the appliances. Using this proposed model, it can able to deliver high mobility and security.The home automation plays an important role in our day-to-day life. By using this home automation system, the home equipment’s like electric fan, bulb and so many can be controlled by sending the signal. The technology that can be used in the home automation can be easily accessible to many individuals. There will be various factors that can be involved by using this home automation system.
